Chipton-Ross is seeking a Supplier Performance Manager for a contract opportunity in Tempe, AZ.
Can work remote but must reside near Tempe, AZ as on-site support at Supplier location will be needed
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive schedule performance
Daily status of schedule milestones
Assist in the achievement of technical milestones or provide feedback of resources/help needed to keep technical milestones to schedule Work schedule to identify areas of risk and opportunities
Understanding JASC’s internal schedule and identifying critical path actions
Driving critical path actions at JASC in order to ensure schedule adherence
Escalate schedule delays to Aerojet Rocketdyne and JASC leadership daily
Provide daily updates on schedule progress to Aerojet Rocketdyne via a daily call and written communication (format to be determined)
Provide daily on-site check-in with JASC on hardware/engineering progress
Provide weekly charts showing schedule progress and defining:
Risks to schedule along with mitigation plans
Opportunities to pull-in schedule
Running weekly and monthly meetings between JASC and Aerojet Rocketdyne
Taking down actions and ensuring completion of those actions
Reporting any incomplete actions to JASC and AR leadership
Attendance and presenting status at AR monthly program reviews
Preparing charts to support AR monthly program reviews for AR management & AR Customer
Facilitate technical reviews/discussions between JASC and AR engineering + quality
Escalate technical actions that require AR assistance or review
Drive accountability with AR to ensure actions are resolved in a timely fashion to support JASC schedule
Deploy Supplier Recovery, which may include any combination of assessments, training, quality improvements, delivery improvements, capacity improvement, lead-time reductions, Lean, Six Sigma, and/or cost savings.
Facilitate cross-functional project teams driving improvements in on-time delivery, volatility, sub-tier management.
Interface with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers regarding supplier performance and improvement actions and processes. Be prepared to report out at executive levels on plans and results.
Interface with all senior-level management at JASC, of the organization, suppliers, and customers regarding supplier performance and improvement actions and processes and be prepared to report out at executive levels on plans and results
Aid JASC in threat and opportunity identification and management of those risks
Develop a risk registrar to track threats and opportunities
Create a risk burn-down plan identifying which risks have already been burned-down and which are ahead.
REQUIREMENTS:
Supplier management experience
Understand contractual obligations
Experience with MS Project or managing schedules Experience with PowerPoint to report daily status Good verbal and written communication skills
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
Technical background (a plus but not required)
EDUCATION:
Bachelors in Supply Chain, Engineering or other business related field and six (6) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Education MUST be accredited**

Full-Time
HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
