- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Londonderry, NH.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Assembles mechanical, optical or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirements.
o Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
o Complete basic testing operations by loading units, starting test programs, and evaluating basic pass/fail criteria
o Continuously performs visual inspections of materials for defects and conducts any range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various components during assembly.
o Report deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and conducts quality inspection at specified intervals
o Perform accurate data and record keeping
o Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
o Apply basic math skills to add and subtract two digit numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance
o Work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives
o Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional team work
o Perform job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures
o Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values
o Consistently at work and on-time
o Participates in meetings and working groups to solve problems, communicate issues, obtain approvals, and maintains specific level of knowledge pertaining to new requirements or policies
o All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.

Full-Time
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
