Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer 5's for contract/remote opportunity in Everett, WA.
*This position can be REMOTE or ONSITE.
Develops requirement management processes and tools. Investigates actions necessary for requirements definition and flow-down improvement. Performs and documents design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems models and tools and guides less experienced engineers in performance of the designs. Develops certification criteria and methods with regulatory agencies. Leads, organizes and resolves cross-divisional problems to provide technical assistance to internal/external customers. Assures cost, time effective, creative solutions and disposition of issues to assure customer satisfaction. Performs a wide variety of complex trades studies to meet program requirements. Works under consultative direction.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
737-10 certification activities including requirement decomposition and safety analysis development
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.
Resumes MUST SHOW specific safety experience.
System safety analysis. Fault tree analysis, and requirements management.
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
*Manager open to full time or part time hours
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
