- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Cyber Sec Gov, Risk and Compliance Spec 3 for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL.
*This position is 100% ONSITE
Contributes to the development and deployment of Cybersecurity controls for assigned systems to meet enterprise requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures. Performs security risk management and/or policy development and deployment. Performs and participates in cybersecurity assessments and audits both in terms of controls and risks. Prepares, reviews, and presents technical reports and briefings. Identifies and contributes to the identification of root causes, prioritizes threats and recommends and/or implements corrective action. Provides technical leadership within a defined organizational team. Explores the enterprise for evolving state of knowledge and methods regarding Cybersecurity best practices. Supports the development of enterprise-wide Cybersecurity policies, standards, guidelines and procedures that may reach across multiple stakeholder organizations.
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
