Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking Aircraft Security Watch for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.

SUMMARY:
In this role you will be responsible for multiple facets of security and cybersecurity operations such as visitor control, document and media control, classification management, investigation of security incidents, and other tasks as requested by the Facilities Security Officer (FSO) and Information System Security Manager (ISSM). This role requires strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with personnel. You should be able to make independent decisions and work with little direct supervision while representing the security organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the protection of classified information and assets.
• Ensuring all applicable security and cybersecurity policies, plans and procedures are followed.
• Creating, collecting, and retaining data to meet reporting requirements.
• Conducting role-based cybersecurity training for assigned users.
• Monitoring and recognizing non-compliance, suspicious and anomalous activity (i.e., threats), and effectively reporting such activity and associated risks to the appropriate parties.
• Ensuring proper measures are taken when an information system incident or vulnerability is discovered.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge of system administration is a plus.
• Understanding of security to include personnel, physical, technical, and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in Department of Defense Manual 5205.07, Volumes 1-4 and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and others as applicable.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

SHIFT:
4/10-2nd Shift
• This position is second shift work. Monday through Thursday, 4:30pm - 2:30am (1630 – 0230).

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
: Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
