Chipton-Ross is seeking a Business Ops Specialist 2 for a contract opportunity in Ogden, UT.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

SUMMARY:
A Business Support Specialist is needed to support the Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) Little Mountain Test Facility (LMTF). This position will report directly to the site Test Program Manager, and provide support to multiple LMTF functions, with tasks and responsibilities to include: supporting future equipment purchase programs, material procurements, lab operations, contract and business correspondence as well as supporting the LMTF test project management team. The Business Support Specialist will meet regularly with the lab managers, other Project Managers, Site Manager, and Air Force customer to support strategy on existing and new projects. This position may also provide support for the escort of subcontractors, in-processing test customers, and providing other support as required. This position will gain valuable experience in all site operations by working with diverse team members across all disciplines and develop many critical skills necessary for growth and development in the defense space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
Provide reports, project status and change information to project team per established processes and communicates plan changes and recovery plans to others
Support the development and update of task specific plans, deliverables, and schedules
Provide support to the Program by supporting meetings, assist with schedule and cost baseline control and forecast updates, tracking subcontractor and material purchase orders, participate in status reporting and milestone reviews
Ability to support, lead, and delegate team's responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycle
Support site with escorting of visitors, subcontractors, and vendors
Other tasks of a clerical/logistical/administrative nature as required by the site leadership
Assist business operations through proposal development, data analysis, report generation, and correspondence development
Assist program management team in analyzing and preparing cost, schedule, and administrative data


REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong presentation skills, effective communication at all levels
Understand how to compile data and take excel files to present information

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Background in legal or contracts
Finance analysis experience

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.). Education must be accredited.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
