Chipton-Ross is seeking a System Integration and Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeking an Engineer to support HWIL work. HWIL Engineer to oversee the design, development and implementation of real-time, closed-loop HWIL capabilities. The ideal candidate is an Electrical Engineer with experience with HWIL integration and testing environment. The candidate must have knowledge of electrical engineering in the areas of digital, analog, radio frequency circuit designs and electronic components. The candidate must be capable of using lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware/software failures in support of HWIL integration and testing. The candidate will also support program meetings, provide project status, and interface with a multi-discipline team. The HWIL Engineer will be involved in the design, development and testing of air vehicle SW, FW and HW and the integration of stimulation equipment into the HWIL facility. The HWIL Engineer will support the integration team in debugging software, hardware, connectors, timing, and designs. The HWIL Engineer will also be involved in the integration, test, verification and validation of the system and various subsystems.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Ability to interpret customer needs, work with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and provide technical feedback to the team
-Linux
-MATLAB and C / C++
-Experience Integrating HW and SW
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
-Experience as a electrical engineer working with multi-disciplined teams
-Experience integrating closed loop systems
-Experience with GitLab
-Experience working with HWIL systems
-Experience using configuration management systems such as Git
-Experience with Embedded Software
-Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
-Experience performing Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and HWIL design and simulation analysis
-Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses.
-HWIL real-time, closed-loop simulation experience is desired.
-Flight software integration and verification experience is also a plus
EDUCATION:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
