Chipton-Ross is seeking a Solder Technician for an opening in Skaneateles, NY.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Machining Department. Machining of small parts by following Manufacturing Process Sheets in a high paced environment while performing error free Quality work.
REQUIREMENTS:
You must have good mechanical dexterity/eyesight, a steady hand, be able to read, write and use basic math; and maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks. Position requires a large amount of sitting and reaching. Applicant should possess the ability to be able to adapt to a changing work environment such as: increased automation, change in production methods or sequences and rotation among workstations. You must be able to work well with others and actively participate in team problem-solving activities. You may be required to work overtime, as needed. Employee will utilize downtime properly, Leaves work area when appropriate, does not abuse bathroom breaks and does not wander. Maintains and displays strong attendance habits by being present and on time
Proficient in verbal and written communication Must have a positive attitude while maintaining flexibility. Conscientious, accurate, and detailed-oriented regarding work output

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus ability to use and inspect through a microscope or magnifier for long period of time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
