Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Metallic Process Technicians for a contract opportunity in Mesa, AZ.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

SUMMARY:
Clean, chemically treat, paint, and identify metallic parts/assemblies, chemically etch and prime parts for bonding. Set up, operate, or tend plating or coating machines to coat metal parts and assemblies with chromium, zinc, copper, cadmium, nickel, or other metal to protect, etch, or specially treat surfaces.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Use personal protective gear for face, eyes, ears, hand, and arms as required
o Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous material
o Obtain & maintain training certifications as required to support assignment responsibilities
o Not typically required, but occasional climbing on 3-12 ft ladders or stands
o Frequent contact with metals and composites
o Frequent exposure to noise

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
paint experience can come from automotive or aircraft painting

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
FULL TIME - 4x10 - Mon - Thu
Candidates must be open to working 1st and 2nd shift. Candidates will be switched between these two shifts. High potential for OT
