Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sustainment Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Functions as the internal design interface between support system, concepts and specifications. Performs analysis of the sustainment system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Other analysis may include interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness, verification, cost/risk, and supportability. Reports directly to the Sustainment Operations Depot Lead under the LSE AME contracts. Candidate will interface with multiple disciplines daily and should have strong interpersonal skills and a desire to learn. Candidate will spend majority of time working in a team environment. Provide technical knowledge in the testing, operation, calibration, and maintenance for the HIMARS and M270 Launchers. Provide technical guidance, liaison assistance and information pertinent to the evaluation of operational difficulties involving the HIMARS and M270 Launchers and other equipment directly involved with the maintenance and operation of the system
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Able to execute warehouse tasks that involve lifting items that weigh 40 lbs
Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
Proficiency/experience using Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
Technical writing experience and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.
Able to operate material handling equipment (pallet stacker, forklift, etc)
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of shipping/receiving/warehousing activities
Experience troubleshooting the M270A1 and/or HIMARS launchers.
Experience with the government DD250 Process
Familiar with Electrostatic Discharge Procedures
Electric standup pallet stacker or forklift experience
Experience with the Army supply system
Military experience
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience/combined education

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
