Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Technical Analyst 1 for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the integration of software components and hardware-software integration by assisting in the execution of basic test procedures. Uses software tools to generate basic software products (e.g., software builds, requirement specifications, design documents). Develops, documents and checks basic software code using software development environment tools and programming languages Assists in the execution of tests and records results; gathers and performs basic analysis of data to assess software performance/function. Collects and inputs process data to support basic software metrics. Works under close supervision.

REQUIREMENTS:
Develop the Software Design and Development with MBSE concepts and integrate MBSE Software Design with DevOps environment, and ability to test associated software development in accordance with test documentation
Ability to work in a high paced environment incorporating IT project management principles, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and Agile/Scrum software development methodology, and development & operations (DevOps) strategy for IT Programs
Experienced SW developer including Concept and Architectural Design experience, Team Leadership, ability to support functional requirements and front-end prototypes to develop technical requirements for development, Brief completed work at iteration demonstrations
Brief completed work to stakeholders

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
GMD program experience
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to review performance and identify root cause and recommend solutions
Knowledge of Agile development process
Experience with Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or SQL Developer to build high performing, scalable, enterprise-grade database application including user interface, concept design, interfaces, analysis, and SQL queries
Utilization of Digital Engineering environment
Good verbal and written communication skills, must be able to work independently and will possess the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environment

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Full-Time
1st Shift- 08:00am-05:00pm

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
