Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Clearwater, FL.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solder SMT and through hole electronic components
Identify electronic components. Read and understand assembly drawings
Assemble and label components, assemblies, and subassemblies per specifications
Follow work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine established assembly methods
Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies to include cables and wire harnesses
Assist with wave soldering and in second assembly as required.
The ability to use numerous types of equipment and assembly tools, including microscopes, soldering irons, tweezers, calipers, picks, scalpels, hot plates, epoxies, etc.
Responsible for the visual inspection of their own assembly work
Practiced ESD, FOD, and safety regulations according to company policy.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Must be organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work independently, under minimal supervision.

Knowledge of testing and troubleshooting electronic components a plus
