Description



Chipton-Ross is seeking a Maintenance Electrician 2 for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintain routine electrical systems and equipment.
o Cuts, threads, bends couples, and straps conduit
o Installs and repairs switch boxes, lighting, plugs, sockets, fuses, ballast, drivers, and extension cords
o Disassembles motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair
o Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency
o Uses blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications to perform routine electrical work
o Uses electrical hand tools and voltage-or-amperage measuring and recording devices

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o High School Diploma or GED
o 2 years of Commercial or Industrial electrical experience in service and repair

PREFERRED:
o Trade school certificate or degree in Electrical

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED
School must be accredited.


HOURS:
9/80 workweek. 2nd shift job 2:00 to 11:30.



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
