Chipton-Ross is seeking a HVAC Mechanic 3 for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

o Installs, services, modifies, rebuilds, and repairs air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment in an industrial or commercial establishment in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations.
o Performs periodic inspection to locate and determine cause of equipment malfunction
o Conducts maintenance program to prevent failure of such equipment as centrifugal compressors, electrical controls, evaporative condensers, pumps, fans, and heating equipment.
o charges air-conditioning systems with refrigerant; checks and tests for leaks.
o sets and adjusts controls and regulators; fabricates, assembles, and installs ductwork.
o overhauls equipment.
o May service, modify, and maintain centralized HVAC computer systems and make program corrections.
o May be required to install and maintain high-technology clean room environments.
o Typically requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience

Candidates must be able to communicate their experience in detail as it relates to the above responsibilities and basic qualifications in this role.
o High School Diploma/GED with two (2) years of experience related to HVAC and/or Refrigeration
o Completed HVAC & Refrigeration Certificate
o Universal EPA Card
o Hands on experience in the inspection, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of HVAC/Refrigeration equipment/systems
o Able to work 2:00 to 11:30 2nd shift

o Industrial HVAC experience
o Able to work on commercial buildings

High school diploma or equivalent/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek. 2nd shift. 2:00-11:30.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
