Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician for a contract opportunity in Cincinnati, OH.

SUMMARY:
Perform mechanical / electrical maintenance functions to set up, adjust, maintain, and repair production line
equipment. Work at a proficient level and proactively troubleshoot and recommend preventive actions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Sets up, cleans, troubleshoots, and adjusts/ lubricates equipment.
Disassembles and assembles mechanical, electrical/electronic assemblies and equipment
to include repair/replacements of major components working from blueprints, assembly
diagrams, electrical/electronic, schematics, or other technical instructions, operate
equipment.
o Operates systems, machines, lines and equipment; e.g. vacuum systems, production
machines, general hand tools and instruments.
o Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment from written instructions,
sketches, plans, diagrams, verbal descriptions, or self-determined job requirements based
on observed conditions.
o Documents conditions, actions, procedures and results of work, tests or inspections
performed by Company policies and procedures.
o Documents work performed on production equipment by maintaining accurate records or
logs.
o Communicate nightly and weekend shift issues to adjacent shifts via work logs and reports.
Follows SOP's and CGMP's and company policies relating to safety, quality, housekeeping,
and cost efficiency.
o Will be trained on Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Rockwell Automation Factory
Talk (RAFT) systems to provide routine site support as needed on the EOWN shift.

REQUIREMENTS:
o 10 years of industrial experience as a mechanic / electrician is required.
o Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related field is preferred.
o Outstanding attention to detail.
o Able to work independently and within a team environment.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
o Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
o Effective time management and prioritization skills.
o Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
o Maintains accurate work records and logs via Maximo Work Orders.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds and occasionally pushing or pulling more than 100 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
An accredited Associate's degree or higher is preferred.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Shift: End Of Week Night (EOWN) Shift - Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:00 pm - 6:30 am. Voluntary OT.

Training: First three months will train on FOWN (front of week nights) -- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6:00 pm - 6:30 am. Voluntary OT.
