Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer for a remote contract opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops integration and test procedures from interface requirements documents and technical specifications. Test developmental systems, track discrepancies, analyze requirements and write test reports. Provide support to resolve system level problems by the customer on delivered hardware.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Robust problem solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment are essential.
Experience of 10 or more years in software testing and quality assurance with experience in software development or systems engineering.
o Must have process background for setting comprehensive Test Plans -and development team test guidance for unit tests, tech tool test integration to functional testing.
o JIRA/Zephyr experience for holistic test scenarios that support and trace end to end testing
o Ability to help project team adapt to testing processes and tools - from end users to developers.
o Knowledgeable of the Agile software development/test life cycle and test methodologies.
o Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
o Leadership, organizational and planning skills and problem solving.
o Ability to manage the testing effort and/or team to plan, construct and execute tests for each release.
o Creation and integration of automated test tools/processes (not required but would be a plus)

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
