Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist 3 to perform work in Boston, MA area.
Location: USA - Lexington, MA OR USA - Nashua, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products. Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements. Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work. Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives. Resolves routine issues and concerns.

Additionally, quality assurance aerospace experience required in hardware inspection. Ability to read and understand blueprints drawings. Medium to advance Data base systems and excel experience. This is a virtual assignment, traveling domestically to suppliers' facilities approximately 75% within MA State particularly in the Carlisle area and 25% in neighboring states. On-call assignment with approximately between 20-25 hours weekly. Candidates must reside within an 40 mile radius from Carlisle or Chelmsford, MA in order to timely support the assignment. Candidate must have successfully completed either IPC-610 and/or IPC-620 training. Candidate will be inspecting RF components and electronics. Candidate must be available to submit to vision test.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.). Education must be accredited.

PART TIME/ON CALL
WORK HOURS: Hours will vary but will be around 24-32 hours a week

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
