Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Systems Engineer 3's for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
Supports developing architecting solutions from user requirements and use cases to be applied across a system engineering lifecycle through system design, integration, and Verification and Validation (V&V).
Create, deliver, and maintain architecture descriptions, digital models, CONOPS, and other architecture products as appropriate.
Support system requirements development, decomposition, and allocation within MBSE tools using CAMEO/MSOSA in SysML and UAF.
Define, integrate, and assess quality and completeness of a functional architecture from which a system can be designed, operated, and supported.
Develop the product and service architectures, and the product and component designs to support product or service implementation.
Developing and delivering SEIT products such as architecture models/documents, requirements databases, specifications, reports, etc.
Collaborating with customer organizations.
Mentoring and coaching (ensuring team understands & executes Client processes, ensuring quality of all the team's internal/external deliverables).
Traveling periodically to support customer and supplier meetings.
Working with Cross Platform teams to create modeling approaches, style guides, work instructions, metrics, and design rule checks.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
100% Onsite - Must be local to OKC area.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
Experience in System Architecture Development using model-based systems engineering software such as: CAMEO/MSOSA, SparxEA, or Rhapsody tool suites.
Aerospace Engineering experience with emphasis in systems engineering.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
The following preferred qualification lists details on which skills could be required depending on program needs. Every skill is not required for this position but a general knowledge of all and expertise in one or more is preferred.
Extensive knowledge modeling languages and frameworks such as UML, SysML, UAF, DoDAF.
Ability to utilize SysML and UAF to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables.
Experience mentoring technical teams and individuals.
Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences using a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas.
Ability to use MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and development.
Experience in Functional decomposition, allocation, and analysis and logical architecture.
Knowledge of modular open systems approach (MOSA) design principles and technologies and Agile systems engineering methods and tools.
Experience with configuration management within a TeamWork Cloud environment.
Experience with Data Architecture or Model Management including meta-modeling/data-modeling and scripting within a SysML or UAF Framework.
Experience with additional MBSE tools such as 3DExperience (3DX) or other similar tools is desired.
Experience creating style guides, data architectures or aircraft system architectures.
Object Management Group (OMG) Certified System Modeling Language Professional (OCSMP) Model User and Builder Certification.
INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification.

EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Full-Time
7:30 am - 5 pm
9x80 Work Shift

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
