Chipton-Ross is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Ward Hill, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Responsible for accurately receiving incoming material domestic / international and add it into the AS400 inventory management system.
o Participates in the physical inventories of warehouse, maintains accurate inventory records.
o Perform daily cycle count.
o Create a Manifest for movement of material between production facilities. DOT certification required.
o Receive and unload freight, both manually and or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
o Check for damaged goods. Verify quantity and quality of shipments received.
o Receiving and inspecting returned products.
o Responsible for efficiently putting away material so it is available as quickly as possible to be shipped to customers.
o Oversees team's performance and works with Manager and Supervisor to address performance or personnel issues as they arise.
o Train team on all IC procedures and processes
o Other duties as assigned by the Building Supervisor.
o Observes all departmental and Quality System procedures and work instructions.
o Supports commitment for continuous improvement by documenting process improvement opportunities throughout the Quality System.
o Follows and abides by all EH&S policies, practices, and procedures in association with department specific responsibilities.
o Demonstrates technical and procedural proficiency and self-assuredness in applying EH&S standards.
o Responsible for contributing to audit readiness and for participating in EH&S audits with internal Company groups, regulatory agencies, and customers.
o Responsible for reporting all near misses, accidents, and dangerous occurrences through the appropriate Company procedures to ensure an investigation is initiated.
o Cooperate with all root cause investigations and follow corrective actions and compliance with Company policies and procedures, and all state and federal regulations occurs within department.
o Support the Company's commitment for environmental health & safety by applying ISO 14001.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Proven work record with warehousing, inventory control, order picking and/or shipping operations with 1 to 3 years warehouse experience.
o Strong attention to detail.
o Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with others.
o Experience in a chemical warehouse environment.
o Experience with (JDE/AS400).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o This position will require some heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs., heavier weights with assistance). Must be able to work an 8-12-hour shift in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to handle chemicals in a safe manner while donning appropriate personal protective equipment.
o Required to wear ASTM F 2413-05 (or ANSI Z41-1999) safety shoes \ safety glasses while working in the warehouse.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
o Must be able to document records in English and communicate orally and in writing in English.
o Must be able to effectively work independently and as a team.
o Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Minimum of High School Diploma or GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time; 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM ET.
