Chipton-Ross is seeking a QA/QC Inspector for a contract opportunity in Rockford, IL.
Performs receiving and inspection duties to ensure product fulfills customer and quality requirements. Maintain and report on daily statistics.
o Review and create datasheets
o Database data entry
o Contact vendor with questions on vendor datasheets and origin surveys
o Create product label templates
o Document changes per defined standard operating procedures
o Update incoming specifications per defined standard operating procedures
o Perform inspection of incoming antibody products according to established procedures to ensure compliance with specifications
o Complete required inspection records per standard operating procedures
o Check incoming product, matching packing slips with purchase orders and receive antibodies into mainframe
o Initiate material rejections as required
o Work with company personnel to resolve inspection questions
o Maintain and report on daily statistics
o Perform all job duties in a safe manner and obeys all safety policies and procedures
o Perform all job duties consistent with the Code of Ethics and the 4-I values
o Perform all job duties within ISO standards, regulatory or statutory requirements
o Perform other duties and cross training as assigned
o Detail oriented and accurate
o Strong organization skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
o Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
o Self-motivated with the ability to work as a team player and/or independently
o Work quickly and accurately to process material
o Good verbal and written communication skills
o Must be proficient with PC applications
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required; Biology, preferred
Full-Time; Mon-Fri First Shift.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
