Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking 20 Fabrication Specialist As for a contract opportunity in Salt Lake City, UT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks. Performs composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks. Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components. Assembles, repairs, modifies, and installs various power plants and drive trains. Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products. Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products. Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests. Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation. Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements. Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred that they have some hand tool or pneumatic tool experience.

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED). Education must be accredited.

FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT
WORK HOURS: This is for 1st & 2nd shift; 1st shift - 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM & 2nd shift - 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM


Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
