Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Test & Evaluation Engineer 3s for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the development and verification of test methods. Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan. Develops solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impact. Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements. Uses analytical tools to verify the design. Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements. Reviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer. Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements. Presents test results internally. Archives data and reports. Trains others. Works under general direction.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design test systems to meet test requirements. Define requirements for system architecture utilizing system engineering approach. Supports the development and verification of test methods. Provide functional verification and validation of all instrumentation systems prior to test phase. Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan. Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements. Uses analytical tools to verify the design. Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements. Reviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer. Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements. Presents test results internally. Perform operations and maintenance of test systems. Direct the implementation of solutions to emergent requirements during test programs. Participate in proposal preparation including labor and material estimating. Develop project plans using the principles of project management to achieve program cost, schedule and performance goals. Develop, document, and maintain processes, methods, and tools.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience

EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

TRAVEL: YES
Less than 10% domestic travel.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
