Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Test & Evaluation Engineer 5's for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads others in the development of standard test methods and processes and applies advanced test technologies to create or improve test methods. Writes invention disclosures to protect Client Intellectual Property. Prepares R&D proposals and presents to internal management and external customer. Applies emerging industry technologies to develop test procedures. Reviews critical procedures to identify potential problems and resolve issues. Develops innovative metrology design techniques, processes, methods, or concepts. Oversees the integration of new design and manufacturing techniques into test hardware/system designs. Analyzes processes for potential improvements and recommends associated changes. Develops the standard policies for post-test activity. Resolves or oversees resolution of special test procedures. Works with the enterprise test and engineering group to standardize evaluation techniques. Formulates expectations for test data for new or unique tests. Trains and coaches others. Works under consultative direction.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading program/project activities. The person in this position must have the ability to gather requirements for complex projects and apply knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations and standard best practices to deliver results on schedule. The person will have demonstrated very strong oral and written communication skills to interface with customers, IPTs, program management, suppliers, stakeholders, and test value streams. Act as the single focal for test activities and be a primary link between program management, stakeholders, and value streams and capabilities to support test development and test execution. Leads the development of standard test methods and processes and applies advanced test technologies to create or improve test methods. Prepares proposals and presents to internal management and external customer. Applies emerging industry technologies to develop test procedures. Reviews critical procedures to identify potential problems and resolve issues. Develops innovative design techniques, processes, methods, or concepts. Oversees the integration of new design and manufacturing techniques into test hardware/system designs. Analyzes processes for potential improvements and recommends associated changes. Develops the standard policies for test activity. Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM), Earned Value Management; and Risk/Issue/Opportunity Management.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
14+ years of experience.

EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD +9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Full-Time
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
