Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
The selected candidate will perform F-35 modernization product integration and testing utilizing system level hardware-in-the-loop integration labs. Duties include software loading, hardware with software integration, application of software patches, system security and performance testing, system regression testing, and after-action report and system problem report authoring.
The Simulation and System Test, 5th Gen Platforms SI&T, F-35 Infrastructure team performs mission system capability integration and maturation, verification, validation, and regression testing for F-35 modernization efforts. Testing is generally at the system level and performed in hardware in the loop venues.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
Experience performing software loading on avionics hardware.
Knowledge with and ability to implement software patches.
Familiarity with Mission Systems Integration Labs
Experience working with LM Aero F-22/F-35 engineering teams (e.g., MS, VS, WPNs, Labs).
Mission planning environment experience.
Demonstrated communication skills, written and oral with internal peers.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Aircraft mission systems or avionics integration experience.
After initial training, employee must perform duties with little supervision.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science in STEM field; Engineering or Computer Science degree preferred.

SHIFT:
4/10
2nd Shift; 1400-2400 Must be willing to work Sunday through Wednesday; 4x10 schedule

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
