Chipton-Ross is seeking two MRB Structural Analysis Engineer 3's for a contract opportunity in Melbourne, FL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment, by hand and by using the automated methods and procedures approved for the program. Ensure that structural repairs meet program requirements and are the lightest, lowest cost, and highest quality products consistent with schedule and budget objectives. The analyst may also be expected to derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract and distribute internal loads, and perform weight and stiffness optimization. Tools utilized may include FEMAP, NX, AFGROW, Teamcenter, and other software applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma.
10 Years minimum, 15 years preferred.
Structural MRB experience on primary metallic / composite airframes, classical structural analysis hand calculations, Knowledge of FEMAP / NASTRAN or similar FEM software, proficiency analyzing composite structures, and intermediate knowledge using AFGROW or similar software to perform crack growth analysis.
Highly motivated self-starter and knowledge of software applications.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma is required.
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
9/80, 4/10, or 5/40 workweek. No shift differential but time and a half for overtime. 100% On-Site.
MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
