Chipton-Ross is seeking a QC Microbiology Analyst for a contract opportunity in Plainville, MA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Perform routine environmental monitoring and critical utility testing
o Conduct routine microbiology assays including bioburden, endotoxin testing, growth promotion, plate enumeration, and microbial identification.
o Recognize and report out-of-specification or unexpected results.
o Clearly and accurately communicate the results of work by capturing of the testing/analysis and obtained results.
o Record and report results of analysis in accordance with prescribed lab procedures and systems.
o Perform daily lab cleaning, preventative maintenance of equipment, ordering of supplies, and autoclaving of equipment.
o Perform all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.
o Maintain the necessary compliance status required by company and facility standards.
o Take part in process improvement initiatives & having a voice within the department.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o 0 to 1 years of relevant experience within a laboratory setting.
o Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
o Excellent organization and planning skills.
o Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to standard procedures.
o Ability to function in a constantly evolving environment.
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
o Must be fluent in English.
EDUCATION:
o Accredited Bachelor's degree in science; preferably Microbiology or Biology
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time; Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
