Chipton-Ross is seeking a Loads and Dynamics Engineer 2 for a hybrid (onsite/remote) opportunity in Long Beach, CA.
*This position is HYBRID - Onsite starting 3 days a week.
Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance. Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Works under general supervision.
Project they will be working on: C-17 External Loads.

- Aircraft stability & control, flying qualities
- Engineering programming languages
- Report authoring / documentation
- Must have some experience with computer languages used for engineering. Preferred languages: C++, SQL, FORTRAN.
- Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
- Aircraft operation experience
- FORTRAN, SQL languages
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in an engineering classification and typically 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
