Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Numerical Control Programmer 2's for a contract opportunity in Huntington Beach, CA.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

SUMMARY:
A Unigraphics NX CNC Programmer to assist in numerous tasks related to numerical controlled manufacturing, including research and data collection to support cross functional teams, establishing technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility and planning the integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software, and equipment. Develops, revises, and verifies Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry. Provides machine operator instructions and documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment per established process. Works under general supervision.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o 5 years UG NX experience programming 3-5 axis machining centers
o 2 years Vericut experience
o Machinist experience

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.). Education must be accredited.

FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFTS
WORK HOURS: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
