Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronics Assembler/Inspector for an opportunity in El Segundo, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
" Solder SMT electronic parts onto printed circuit board assemblies
" Assemble cables and wire harnesses
" Inspect assemblies to be in compliance with J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620C
" Daily lab housekeeping to comply with ESD and FOD requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
" Minimum two years of experience in SMT soldering and cable assemblies
" Must have previous experience with inspecting PCB assemblies or cables
" Ability to work using a microscope
" Certified or proficient in J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, WHMA-A-620 or equivalent ( NASA-STD-8739.2 , NASA-STD-8739.3)

PREFERRED:
Certified inspector of PCB assemblies and cables

EDUCATION:
Completed 4 year vocational trade school, 4 year Apprenticeship program, or equivalent industry experience.
High School degree acceptable and school must be accredited. Associates Degree preferred but not required.

HOURS:
Full-Time 5/40 work week.
7:30 AM to 4PM


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
