Chipton-Ross is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a remote contract opportunity.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of Software Development experience, with proficiency in full-stack web development (frontend, backend, database, APIs, and other service types). US Citizenship is required for this role. Experience in Containerization and Container Orchestration Services (e.g., Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes). Experience in Red Hat Middleware solutions (e.g., AMQ, Kafka, Camel). Experience delivering software solutions and APIs (i.e., SAP, S4/Hanna, Cameo, Dassault 3DX, PTC Windchill, Siemens TeamCenter). Expertise with Java and/or Javascript languages and frameworks (e.g., Quarkus, Spring-Boot, JPA, JDBC, etc). Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQLServer, MySQL, etc.) and Structured Query Language (SQL). Disaster recovery: backups and restores of virtual machines, databases, and network equipment. Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD Pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code. Troubleshooting/Debugging applications. IT experience of any combination in system/database/network planning & administration. Experience on Agile development programs (Jira, Atlassian).

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
Engineering, Production Operations, and/or Supply Chain domain experience, including knowledge of the Engineering release and related downstream business processes.
Extensive hands-on experience with cloud technologies, with a preference for Amazon Web Services, but other cloud platforms such as OpenStack and others are relevant as well.
Experience with various flavors of Linux (RHEL, CentOS) or MS Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, Nano) environments and the ability to build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface (CLI).
Gitlab and associated services such as Gitlab-CI.
Configuration and deployment of applications using Openshift/Kubernetes.
Incorporating authentication standards and security protocols: OAuth, SAML, TLS, etc.
Experience supporting a high-performing virtual team. The individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Self-motivated learner, active learner, driven, strong problem solver.
Other: SAP, AWS, Python, performance testing, XML and JSON Schema, OAGIS BOD, Jakarta framework.
Applying updates and patches.
Use of Splunk or other log aggregation & system monitoring tools.
Ability to analyze and debug traffic through logs, packet and other network traffic capture utilities.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Full-Time - 4x10

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
