Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 10 Structural Analysis Engineer 2's for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Works under general supervision.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Experience with Fatigue, Damage Tolerance, and/or Finite Element Analysis.
o Experience with applying free body hand diagrams and calculations
o Experience navigating CAD programs, Client: CATIA, PDM/ENOVIA.
o Stress Analysis review and integration experience with supplies and global partners.
o Experience with Client Stress Analysis tools such as: FEADMS, IAS, SA, MossDuberg.
o Previous experience with commercial airplane Wing and Fuselage structural analysis; Doors/Windows/Landing Gear Analysis; Flight controls, Mechanical Hydraulics, High lift, Electrical, and/or ECS system installation structural stress analysis experience.

EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Relocation is NOT offered as part of our contract req’s.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
