Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking 6 (six) Avionic Technicians for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Heavy Sustainment/DEPOT maintenance and MODS- F-16 or other related fighter avionics experience required- Routing, Soldering, Crimping, and Functional Testing is required. Minimum 4-6 years' experience

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
F-16 experience and Fighter experience Preferred

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED.

SHIFT:
4/10-1st Shift
1st or 2nd shift availability
1st shift M-T 5:30am- 4pm
2nd Shift M-T 3:30pm-1:30am

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
