Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Tool Engineer 1 for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists/Oversee the design, fabrication, installation of industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.

- Execution/Lead/Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external.
- Support root cause failure investigations and implement associated corrective actions.
- Assist Team with new product designs to ensure manufacturability, validate process/ technology.
- Experience managing projects, creating presentations, working in a team

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of experience.


EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 work week. 100% On-Site.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
