Chipton-Ross is seeking a Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hardware requirements for the Production Qualification Ground and Flight Test program and includes the creation and release processing of engineering release (ER) documents, generating solid models, creating and releasing drawings, performing tolerance analyses, and providing support to Production Planning, Operations and Global Supply Chain.
In addition, the candidate will support Material Review Board Engineering (MRBE) Qnotes and Supplier Deviation Waivers, along with providing both Missile & Pod Integration support in Camden, Arkansas.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with hardware build and integration support, troubleshooting is highly desired.
1. Candidate must have 6+ years' experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
2. Candidate must have 6+ years' experience supporting hardware build and test.
3. Candidate must have 6+ years' experience with CREO .
4. Candidate must have 6+ years' experience with Microsoft Office Tools.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
1. Experience with Model Based Definition / fully annotated 3D CAD models is highly desired.

Accredited HSD/GED
