Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Milwaukee, WI.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Perform bench assembly, testing and packing on sub or finished unit assemblies according to assembly procedures (i.e. BOM, DHR, Work Instructions, etc.).
o Ensure use of most up to date procedures by using ERP system (SAP).
o Perform basic troubleshooting on assemblies which does not require a technician.
o Complete all appropriate forms and DHRs legibly and correctly for the assemblies they are working on following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
o Cross train into multiple positions/products as directed by production supervisor
o Perform other tasks as assigned by Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor
o Adhere to the Quality System.
o Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in their work.
o Apply continuous improvement thinking by suggesting improvements for their work areas and job functions to reduce costs and lead time.
o Follow standard work (manufacturing procedures) as written.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Requirements for this position include 0-1 years manufacturing assembly experience
o Prior experience in a medical device company a plus
Skills and abilities:
o Fluent in English (both written and oral)
o Ability to read and understand Work Instructions and Bill of Materials
o Basic Computer skills
o 0-1 years' experience working with SAP
Physical demands and work environment:
o Physical Demands: Up to 30 lbs. lifting
o Ability to sit and/or stand throughout the workday.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School diploma or equivalent

Full-Time
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
