Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Planner for a contract opportunity in Grand Island, NY.

The Materials Planner is responsible for the supply of raw materials and raw material inventory health that they are assigned. They will ensure execution of the materials delivery plan. To accomplish this, they will participate in the creation and execution of supply strategies, process improvements, and systems enhancements required to maintain full visibility of incoming supply in line with demand requirements. This role will collaborate cross functionally with multiple departments to solve problems and achieve lasting results. The role will report into the Manager, Materials planning.

o Effective and detailed material planning with focus on customer needs, inventory targets and manufacturing capacities
o MPS, MRP, parameters management, reporting for designated products, alignment of raw material orders with production scheduling, shop order release, parts shortages identification, work with appropriate people to expedite material, tracks shipments according to request and commitment date, advise manager about potentials issues, provides RMA

o Reporting, analyzing, corrective actions setting

Minimum of Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

Full-Time; Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
