Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Production Specialist for a contract opportunity in Dalton, GA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows written instructions and standard operating procedures to manufacture quality adhesive products.
- Works collaboratively with adhesive operators to ensure a quality product is produced.
- Perform preventive maintenance functions as required.
- Perform in-plant laboratory testing to satisfy intermediate and finished product requirements.
- Responsible for accurate batch sheet administration and retain sample collection.
- Follow proper procedures for the handling, storage and transfer of waste.
- Loads and mixes products per Process Master.
- Off loads and packages products per Package Master.
- Produce product labels and bar codes
- Operates fork truck and material handling equipment. Completes daily forklift inspection log.
- Follows all safety guidelines and promotes a safe working environment at all times.
- Maintains good housekeeping practices.
- Assist in all liquids and specialty areas as needed.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Forklift experience required.
- Chemical batch manufacturing experience required.
- Machine Operator/Manufacturing experience required.
- Must have a demonstrated record of reliability and safety awareness.
- Prefer individual to have demonstrated sound decision making practices.
- Must be committed to the concepts of in-plant intermediate testing and preventive maintenance.
- Must be capable of fostering a positive working atmosphere through teamwork and cooperation.

EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
