Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Handler II for a contract opportunity in Rockwood, TN.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o May operate order pickers, forklifts, turret trucks, and other equipment to handle product movement
o Perform receipt & putaway functions via RF unit to store products
o Pick work orders or sales orders and deliver to accurate staging areas
o Pack parcels and pallets and prepare them for shipment
o Perform kitting, assembly, weighing, or production machine operation
o Work safely every day and keep all work areas clean and organized.
o All other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
o Due to serving critical customers may need to work overtime (early or late or weekend) based on business needs. Prior notice will be given when possible
o Position to support Safety, Quality, Customer Delivery, Customer Allegiance Score, and PPI & Efficiency Savings.

REQUIREMENTS:
o Frequently lift 50 lbs and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs with assistance
o Frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time First Shift- M-F 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
