Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 F-15E Electrical Modification Technician C's for a contract opportunity in Mountain Home AFB, ID.

o Able to perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
o Ability and understanding of routing instructions and handling of harnesses.
o Perform efforts associated with sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes.
o Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair.
o Usage of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring.
o Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading electrical/avionics components to correct failures or implement changes.
o Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components.
o Fabricates and modifies electrical systems according to specifications.
o Performs tasks associated with the safe handling of an aircraft structure.
o Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
o Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair.
o Contractors on their feet multiple hours a day, working from heights.

o Minimum of 3 years with any military aircraft maintenance.
o Minimum of 3 years' with retrofit or modification programs.
o Experience installing aircraft modifications to include fabricating and installing aircraft electrical system wiring, connectors, electrical components or avionics boxes.
o This position requires an individual to work at heights utilizing fall protection equipment. Candidate must be able to obtain Fall Protection Certification. This is also contingency of assignment - Fall Protection Regulations.
o Candidates will be required to attend and pass training classes. This is a contingency for this assignment.

o Experience with F-15 or similar platform.
o General Mechanic experience desirable.
o Works well on a team.

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.). Education must be accredited.

WORK HOURS: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
