Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a General Laborer for a contract opportunity in Goleta, CA.

This position is 100% onsite. You must be available to work on weekends on an as needed basis.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Wholesale experience
o Able to work afternoon shift (flexible to work swing or weekend shift as needed)
o Experience with carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, plumbing, plastic or associated work on plant facilities using hand and power tools.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
o License or Certificate (Mechanical/HVAC)
o License or Certificate (Electricity)
o License or Certificate (Plumbing)
o Journeyman license or experience in Apprenticeship working alongside Journeyman)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs routine repairs and maintenance of plant and/or office facilities and equipment.

Performs basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, plumbing, plastic or associated work on plant facilities using hand and power tools.

May be required to troubleshoot equipment or facilities problems and reports them to supervisor.

May interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, drawings, and specifications. May perform routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary.

Perform particle count, water waste and cleanroom tasks. Also to change out chemical cylinders for equipment throughout the site and other unforeseen tasks.

EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 2nd Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
