Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Planner for a hybrid contract opportunity in Littleton, CO.

This position is HYBRID - 50% remote, 50% onsite. Subject to change due to business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Partner with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions.
-Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy.
-Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts.
-Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statuses.
-Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response.
-Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator.
-Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.
-Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments.
-Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o 8-10 years of previous planning/scheduling experience
o Earned Value Management experience
o Ability to perform critical path and risk analyses
o Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines
o Thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates a willingness to adjust to changing priorities
o Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
o Past Client Experience

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Experience with Microsoft Project Server, Open Plan, Acumen, and One Pager Pro
o Understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of a spacecraft/satellite program
o Understanding of the Program Performance Management Process
o Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule
o Prior team lead experience
o Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
o Strong sense of follow-up and closure with attention to detail
o Self-starter able to operate with minimal guidance
o Desire and willingness to support dynamic proposal activities
o Strong influencing and relationship management skills
o Excellent problem solving skills to identify and resolve challenges arising in dynamic situations
o Makes sound decisions quickly and efficiently, even with limited information or under time constraints

Accredited HSD/GED

Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift
