Chipton-Ross is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
This position is HYBRID - 80% onsite, 20% remote. This is subject to change due to business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual will be responsible for performing cybersecurity maintenance, to include continuous monitoring, security updates, patching, and hardening. The engineer will also be responsible for providing cybersecurity oversight our Systems and Software teams and providing the necessary documentation and artifacts to support and maintain any ATOs for MFCs products.
o Providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems
o Assessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle
o Validating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for Test Systems
o Implementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and software
o Verifying implementation of system security requirements
o Analyzing weaknesses, vulnerabilities and threats against System Security posture on product designs
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:
Cybersecurity
Systems Security
Systems Analysis & Design
Familiarity with STIGs and System Hardening
Familiarity with Cyber tools such as Ansible, SCC, Nessus/ACAS
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 Years of Cybersecurity Engineering experience
3-5 Years of Systems Engineering experience
Systems Development
SOP/Process Creation
EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift
MISCELLANEOUS:

HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
