Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a MATLAB Software Developer 3 for a contract opportunity in Linthicum, MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
RTM is a suite of software designed to identify opportunities for requested payload tasking and to generate the required commanding inputs to command the Space Radar Payload.
Responsibilities include:
Radar Tasking Model (RTM) team member
SW Development and Maintenance of RTM software in Object Oriented MATLAB

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with MS
Sr Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 8 years relevant experience or 6 years with MS
Radar tasking modeling knowledge and experience required
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming in MATLAB

PREFERRED:
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Experience with Space Sensor Payloads
Experience with RADAR performance modeling
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Math

EDUCATION:
Bachelors of Science in STEM is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek.



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
