Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Irving, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected individual will report to the manager of Accounts Payable PO Processing and will utilize SAP S/4 HANA, Open Text, Vendor Invoice Management system, Outlook, Excel other accounting tools, to support Accounts Payable functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, company policies and procedures, disclosure statements, and government regulations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Processing PO related invoices within our SAP and Vendor Invoice Management System.
o The ability to professionally communicate related accounting policies and procedures
o The ability to multitask and work independently to meet service delivery agreements
o Ability to collaborate and have a continuous learning mindset
o Support month-end requirements
o Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to help resolve invoice posting issues
o Ability to perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o 1-3 years of recent accounts payable experience
o SAP experience
o Accounts payable customer service experience
o Intermediate skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft applications including Word and Outlook
o Excellent customer service skills
o Strong attention to detail and accounting orientation, and the ability to multi-task and manage time
PREFERRED:
o Knowledge of GAAP; CAS; FAR as well as Corporate Accounting Policies and procedures
o Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management
o Advanced Excel skills
o SAP experience (specifically SAP S/4 HANA)
EDUCATION:
High school diploma/GED.
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
5/40 workweek. HYBRID position. Candidates must be local to Irving, TX and able to be on site 2 days a week. Hybrid arrangements are subject to change based on the needs of the business.
HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
