Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer - DevSecOps for a contract opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.
*This position is 100% ONSITE.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate for the role supports the development and verification of the Tomahawk Mission Planning (TMP) System and all aspects of Tomahawk Mission Planning (TMP) lifecycle. This software is critical for ensuring the US Navy, US Army, US Marine Corp and our Foreign Militaries customers are able to quickly and efficiently launch military strikes against adversaries. Regular and predictable attendance is required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Harden infrastructure for development and production environments.
o Build and operate continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD).
o Deploy containerized applications with a container orchestration tool.
o Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for infrastructure automation.
o Integrate with DoD practices for cloud and deployment environments.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines or other CI/CD platforms (GitLab, Jenkins).
o Implementing DevSecOps practices within the DoD environment.
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o .NET environments (.vbproj, .csproj) with InstallShield
o Infrastructure Automation Tools developing Infrastructure as Code (HashiCorp Terraform, Ansible)
o Linux Environments (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, RHEL 9)
o Windows Environments (Windows Server, Windows 10/11)
o Government Cloud Environments (AWS)
o Container Orchestration Tools (Kubernetes, Rancher, OpenShift) with container software (Docker, Podman)
o Security Tool Usage and Implementation for SAST, DAST, and SCA (Fortify, JFrog XRay)
o Git Version Control
o Agile Development Experience
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
(e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
WORK HOURS: FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
