Chipton-Ross is seeking a Configuration Analyst for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform Configuration Status Accounting using appropriate tools and inspections to verify all serialization and configuration requirements have been fulfilled to close logbooks upon hardware completion. Conduct Status Accounting activities to monitor the relationship between the engineering design of the product and the actual hardware or software during the manufacturing build process. Ensure hardware is built to current engineering configuration. Verify all serialization requirements have been fulfilled prior to shipment. Prepare serial/lot record sheets and input into the central database. Maintain serial/lot identification records for each serially controlled item. Input engineering changes into the central database. Facilitate coordinated efforts of Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality organizations. Ensure timely incorporation and proper documentation of engineering changes. Act as liaison concerning as-built configurations and serialization. Candidate will participate in Configuration Change Board meetings and will help review and analyze engineering change data and track open items to ensure completion of change implementation activities.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Must have Configuration Status Accounting experience using the Systems, Application and Processes in Data Processing (SAP) and the Asset Management System (AMS).
-Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, GitLab/GitHub, etc.).
- Must have Configuration Change Board (CCB) understanding including implementation activities.
- Experience in reading and releasing engineering drawings and documentation including bills of material.
- Proven ability in processing CDRLs in accordance with the Contract SOW, 1423s, and DD250s, and in accordance with the applicable Industry Standards.
- Experience with serialization of hardware and Item Unique Identification standards.
- Advance experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access): including designing, developing, automating, and maintaining Access and Excel databases.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with CM of hardware/software.
- Knowledge of and experience in the Logistics and Sustainment Engineering efforts of a Missile program.
- Experience with Product Data Management tools.

Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift
MISCELLANEOUS:

This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
