Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accounting Associate for a contract opportunity in Norfolk, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for the project setup, billing and cash collection for all Government and Other Contractor programs on a bi-weekly to monthly basis.
The role is critical to project execution and cash collection for the business.
Employee has frequent contact with Customers, Program Managers, Program Finance and Division Contracts in order to complete this work.
Employee is also frequently needed in training others in the department and Program Finance personnel.

REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in Excel - working with large amounts of data in excel, pivot table, and VLOOKUP's.
Knowledge of CostPoint is mandatory.
Strong communication skills across varying functional groups.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree or BBA in Accounting or Finance.

SHIFT:
Full-Time 1st Shift
Monday-Friday - 7:30 AM / 8:00 AM start.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
