- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician for a contract opportunity in Bingen, WA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Knowledge of parts, materials and processes related to electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical and electro-optical components.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Building, inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and integrating system modules, subsystems, air vehicles and ground control station (GCS) systems.
Performing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of product and test equipment.
Build, repair, troubleshoot, and test electro-mechanic assemblies including cables and PCBs.
Assist with pilot builds of new products and documents procedural and fixturing requirements for manufacturing application.
Review and complete business and required documentation, including technical work instructions, check lists, quality documentation.
Use and maintain hand and/or power tools.
Perform minor cosmetic touch up work including painting and surface repairs of carbon and metal structures.
Assist and/or perform engine testing including but not limited to acceptance test procedure, fuel consumption measurement, limited troubleshooting and repair of field equipment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time,1st Shift
9/80 work schedule Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
