Chipton-Ross is seeking 6 A&P Mechanics for a contract opportunity in Victorville, CA.
*This position is 100% ONSITE.
HARD REQUIREMENTS (MUST SHOW ON RESUME):
-Aircraft maintenance experience
-Must possess A&P certification (Please add A&P License number on top of resume in order to be considered..
-Experience working as an A&P Mechanic
-Total Knowledge of the Airplane
-Total of 5+ years of experience
NOTE: Training could be in Seattle, WA or Victorville, CA. Candidate must be open to either location for training. Client will reimburse expenses for travel if approved by management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Perform Service Bulletin installations and functional checks relating to aircraft mechanical systems.
o Perform system troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
o Maintain a clean and FOD free work area.
o Proficient in flight deck operations for various aircraft
o Proficient troubleshooting A/C systems
o Proficient software loading
o Meets RS requirements
ADDITIONAL
-Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT (On the Job) training or formal classroom training.
-Will require experience and capability to operate machinery such as scissor lift, and boom lift.
-Role will require candidate to be on their feet for long periods of time, along with the ability to climb ladders, and work within confined spaces.

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
WORK HOURS:
First and Second Shift. All candidates submitted must be open to working both shits.
Will be asked to work weekends.
MISCELLANEOUS:
-This work assignment has been designated as "safety sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory preplacement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.
-OT/DOT expected? YES - 20 hours of OT expected.
Okay with out-of-state candidates? YES, if they relocate at their own expense and no delay in starting.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
