Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer for a Direct-Hire opportunity in Louisville, KY.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Senior Structural Project Engineer, you will play a key role in our projects, providing expert guidance, managing complex engineering assignments, and mentoring junior engineers. Your in-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, advanced analytical capabilities, and project management expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of our diverse portfolio of projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and guidance on structural engineering design, analysis, and construction methodologies.
- Manage the engineering design of multiple projects simultaneously
- Conduct thorough analysis and calculations to verify the integrity and performance of structural systems.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and reports prepared by junior team members.
- Perform site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to drive innovation and enhance project outcomes.
- Train to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and clients, to develop and implement innovative engineering solutions.
- Train to collaborate with business development teams to prepare proposals, participate in client meetings, and contribute to the growth of the company.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's Degree preferred.

Full-time
